Georgine T. Arvanites, age 66, fell asleep in the Lord November 8, 2023. Loving mother of Ashley Ilenfeld. Devoted daughter of Thomas and Vasio Arvanites. Dear sister of Margo (James) Benz and Lana (Ary) Christofidis. Fond aunt of Timothy (Brett) Benz, Christopher Benz, Gregory Benz, Michael Christofidis and Lia Christofidis. Great aunt of Brooke Benz.
Georgine was a talented artist and calligrapher. She always kept up with the latest fashion trends and was a youth choir director at Saint Demetrios. Georgine loved her family and will be dearly missed by them and her friends.
Visitation Tuesday, November 14, 2023 from 11:00 AM until time of Funeral Service 12:00 PM Noon at Saint Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 2727 West Winona Street, Chicago, IL 60625. Funeral service may be live-streamed on the Saint Demetrios YouTube page. Interment to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, Skokie, IL.
