Gust Maris, age 74, fell asleep in the Lord December 19, 2023. Beloved husband of Anna Maris née Aretis for 55 years. Loving father of Nikos, Michael (Chrysanthi), Panagiota (Antonis Krimizis) and the late Demetrios Maris. Devoted son of the late Dimitris and Panagiotia Maris. Proud grandfather of Anna (Kostas Tahains), Kosta, Michail, Anna, Antonis and Nicholas Maris and Annamaria, Demetria and Stathis Krimizis. Great grandfather of Kiryaki Tahains. Fond cousin of many.
Gust was a big fan of the Chicago Cubs.
Visitation Wednesday, December 27, 2023 from 10:30 AM until time of Funeral Service 11:30 AM at Saint Haralambos Greek Orthodox Church, 7373 North Caldwell Avenue, Niles, IL 60714.
