Helen Koconis (nee Vratimos), age 89, fell asleep in the Lord August 15, 2022. Beloved wife of the late James G. Koconis for over 60 years. Loving mother of Peter J. (Safurat) and George J. (Claudia A.) Koconis. Devoted daughter of the late William and Pitsa Vratimos (nee Zervopoulos). Proud grandmother of Alexander J., Falilat A., Aula A. and Peter J. Koconis. Dear sister of John (Karen) Vratimos and Nicholas (Lilit) Vratimos. Fond aunt and cousin of many. Helen loved to read and cook. Visitation Tuesday, August 23, 2022 from 9:00 AM until time of Funeral Service 9:30 AM at Saints Peter & Paul Greek Orthodox Church, 1401 Wagner Road, Glenview, IL 60025.
