Mary Markou

Mary Markou, age 97, fell asleep in our Lord on August 14, 2022. Cherished sister of the late George (survived by Joan) Markou and Calliope Markou. Dearest aunt of Susan (Michael) Brown, Linda (Peter) Coologeorgen, and Renee (Eyad) Khoury and great-aunt of Eric (Georgia) Brown, Matthew Markou (Konstantina) Brown, Jennie (Ted) Christakos; George (Venetia), Dean (Katie), and Alexander Coologeorgen; and Christopher (Kelsey), Timothy, Zachary, and Adam Khoury and great-great aunt of Susanna, Jonathan, Demi, Antheia, Michael, Chrysa, Madeline, Michael, Perry, Vasilios, and Anthony. Darling daughter of the late Everett and Chrisoula (nee Angeloudis) Markou. Mary’s loves were her faith, family, and animals. Visitation Monday, August 22, 2022 at 10AM at St. Nectarios Greek Orthodox Church, 133 S. Roselle Road, Palatine, IL with funeral service to follow at 11AM. Interment Elmwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to A.S.P.C.A. or St. Nectarios Greek Orthodox Church. Arrangements by Memory Eternal Funeral Directors, Ltd. 847-375-0095.
