Dear sister of Diogenes Ioannidis and the late Vera (Demosthenes) Polatsidou and Angeliki Kotsamboikidou. Fond aunt and cousin of many in the US and Greece.

In loving memory of our dear Yiayia who graced our lives with her wit and warmth. She had a gift for one-liners that could light up any room, leaving smiles in her wake. Her crocheting extended beyond the art itself; each work of art and doily she created carried a piece of her love and heart.  Her nimble fingers, guided by a lifetime of experiences, transformed mere threads into intricate patterns that mirrored the complexity and beauty of her own life. As we say our goodbyes, we find solace in the tangible pieces of warmth she left behind, a tangible reminder of the enduring love she bestowed upon us all.

Visitation Friday, November 24, 2023 from 9:00 AM until time of Funeral Service 10:00 AM at Saint George Greek Orthodox Church, 2701 North Sheffield Avenue, Chicago, IL 60614. Interment to follow at Arlington Cemetery, Elmhurst, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Saint George Greek Orthodox Church would be appreciated. Arrangements by Memory Eternal Funeral Directors, Ltd. (847) 375-0095.

May her memory be eternal.
