Helen Lira, age 96, fell asleep in our Lord on July 21, 2021. Beloved wife of the late John Lira and the late James C. Sarros. Loving mother of James Sarros and Robert (Carla) Sarros. Dear sister of Chris Lambos and the late Jeanne (George) Davros, Theda (Douglas) Winnega, Em Lee Lambos, and Angelo Lambos. Dear aunt, cousin, friend, and dog Mom to many who will miss her immensely. Family and friends will meet for visitation from 12:15PM-1PM Monday, July 26, 2021 at Saints Peter and Paul Greek Orthodox Church in Glenview with funeral service to begin at 1PM. Interment to follow at Elmwood Cemetery, River Grove, IL. In lieu of flowers, donations to any animal charity of your choice would be appreciated.
