Mary Paniotte, nee Dimiropoulos, fell asleep on August 4, 2021. Beloved wife of the late Dr. Emmanuel G. Paniotte. Loving mother of Maryann P. (David) Rasmussen, George E. Paniotte, and Magdalene B. Paniotte. Proud grandmother of Marina Mary (Zach) Yarnoff, Emmaline Marie Rasmussen, Stephanie Marie Rasmussen and great-grandmother of Charlotte Mary Yarnoff and one on the way. Dear sister of Irene (the late Christos) Karatzas and the late Theodore (survived by Argyro) Dimiropoulos and Koula (the late Kosta) Phillips. Cherished daughter of the late Stavros and Magdalene Dimiropoulos. Dear aunt, great-aunt, cousin, and friend of many who will miss her. Mary was a longtime member of the Saints Peter and Paul Ladies Philoptochos Society, Dynamis, Prison Ministry, Greek American Nursing Home volunteer, Feed the Hungry committee, Prosphora Baker Ministry, Bible study group, Homebound Ministry, and Chicago Botanical Gardens. She was an active participant at Northshore Art Senior classes and an avid lover of the arts, especially opera, classical music, and ballet. Family and friends will meet for visitation on Sunday 2PM-6PM at N.H. Scott & Hanekamp Funeral Home, 1240 Waukegan Road, Glenview. Masks will be required. Funeral service Monday 10:30AM at Saints Peter and Paul Greek Orthodox Church, 1401 Wagner Road, Glenview. Interment to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, Skokie.
