Constantine “Gus” N. Dranias J.D., passed away on February 21, 2022. Beloved husband of Sandra Lee Dranias nee Everhart. Loving father of Nicholas C. (Nicole) Dranias J.D. and Mark R. (Chloe) Dranias Ph.D. Cherished grandfather of Siena and Constantine Dranias. Dear brother of the late Ioanna Dranias. Devoted son of the late Nicholas and Aspasia Dranias. Dear cousin of Dean (Valerie) Dranias and Eleni Drakopoulou and friend of Alan Davis and many others who will miss him. Accomplished Chicago-area trial and appellate lawyer, restauranteur, and entrepreneur. Throughout his life, Constantine participated in numerous ventures in such areas as real estate development, banking, insurance, food services, manufacturing, news media and air travel. Over more than forty years of practice, Constantine litigated more than one hundred trials and arbitrations in the fields of personal injury and business law. Gus also liked to play and tell stories like no one else could; from mapping and fishing the best spots in Lake of the Woods, to teasing and debating everyone around the dinner table. He will be missed by all. Friends and family will meet Monday, February 28, 2022 at 10AM for visitation and funeral service to follow at 11AM at St. Andrew Greek Orthodox Church, 5649 N. Sheridan Road, Chicago, IL. The service may be viewed live or recorded on St. Andrew’s Youtube channel. Interment to follow at Elmwood Cemetery, 2905 Thatcher Avenue, River Grove, IL.
