Adeline P. Kalant, age 100, fell asleep in our Lord on April 11, 2021. Beloved wife of the late George A. Kalant. Loving mother of Cary (Maria) Kalant. Cherished grandmother of George and Dean (Jennifer) Kalant. Proud great-grandmother of Katherine and Gwenyth. Dear sister of the late Tessieann (the late Gus) Skizas and Nick Callas. She was a past President of Philopticos Women’s Club at St. Andrews, graduate of Parker High School, and went to Fox Secretarial School and became an executive secretary and worked for Himmel Furs. She was an election judge for 62 consecutive years. Family and friends will meet at St. Andrew Greek Orthodox Church, 5649 N. Sheridan Road, Chicago, on Saturday, April 17, at 9:30AM for visitation, funeral service to follow at 10:30AM. Interment Elmwood Cemetery, River Grove.
