Diana Banas nee Hanson, age 83, fell asleep in the Lord November 7, 2022. Beloved wife of the late Warren Banas. Loving mother of the late Nick and Steven Banas. Devoted daughter of the late Nikonas and Christina Hanson. Proud grandmother of Nick (Anna) Banas, Alex (Alex) Barrie, Danielle Banas and Steven Banas. Great grandmother of Lincoln John Barrie. Dear sister of the late George ( the late Mary) Hanson. Fond aunt and cousin of many. Diana was a strong, generous person. She was very devoted to her family and raising her grandchildren. Visitation Monday November 14, 2022 from 9:30 AM until time of Funeral Service 10:00 AM at Transfiguration Chapel in Elmwood Cemetery, 2905 Thatcher Avenue, River Grove, IL 60171. Interment to follow. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 would be appreciated.
