George A. Therios

George A Therios, age 88, fell asleep in the Lord September 29, 2021. Beloved husband of the late Anastasia (nee Psalidas) Therios. Loving father of Sofia and Ike Therios. Devoted son of the late Athanasios and Anastasia (nee Daifotis) Therios. Dear brother of Demos (the late Stavroula) Therios. Fond uncle of Art (Vicki) Therios, Gus (Linda) Therios and Anastasia (Tom) Sikoral and cousin and uncle to many. Godfather of Kathy (Ted) Arvanitis. George was a proud Cook County Deputy Sheriff for over 25 years after spending many years as a restaurant owner (George’s Place in Wheeling and The Forest Flame in Niles). Visitation Monday, October 4, 2021 from 9:30 AM until time of Funeral Service 10:00 AM at Saint Haralambos Greek Orthodox Church, 7373 North Caldwell Avenue, Niles, IL. Interment to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, Skokie, IL. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to Lewy Body Dementia Association, 912 Killian Hill Road, SW, Lilburn GA 30047 or www.lbda.org would be appreciated.
