Nicolas Lembessis

Nicolas Lembessis, fell asleep in our Lord on August 31, 2022. He was a long-time restauranteur, avid runner and agriculturist. He loved swimming and fishing and visiting Zakynthos. He absolutely enjoyed gathering with family and friends. Beloved husband of Athina Lembessis nee Pylarinou. Loving father of Maria Lembessis, Denise (Nick) Velelekos-Apostolakos, and Peter (Agnes) Lembessis. Proud Pappou of George, Marina, Athena, Danny, and great-grandfather of Anastasia, Alexandra, Dionysia, and baby Evangeline. Dear brother of Dimitrios and the late George and Ioannis Lembessis. Dear uncle, cousin, godfather, and friend to many who will miss him. Family and friends will meet for visitation at 10AM Tuesday, September 6, 2022, at St. Nectarios Greek Orthodox Church, 133 S. Roselle, Palatine with funeral service to follow at 11AM. The service may be viewed live or recorded at St. Nectarios’ Youtube channel. Interment Arlington Cemetery, Elmhurst. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Nicolas’ name to the family for donations at their discretion would be appreciated. Arrangements by Memory Eternal Funeral Directors, Ltd. 847-375-0095.
