Georgios Avgeris, fell asleep in our Lord on September 2, 2022. Beloved husband of Georgene Avgeris nee Manitias. Loving father of Evangelos (Christina) Avgeris and Constantinos (Carly) Avgeris. Proud Pappou of Ari, Sawyer, Rosalie, Leo, Eva, Sofia, and Georgios. Dear brother of Adonia Avgeris Theodropoulou and the late Zoi Avgeris Lavda and brother-in-law of Dimitri Kavathas and Dean Manitias. Cherished son of the late Evangelos and Georgia Avgeris and son-in-law of Dino and the late Penne Kavathas. Dear theo, cousin, and friend to many who will miss him. Friends and family will meet Wednesday, September 7, at 10AM for visitation with funeral service to follow at 11AM at St. Nectarios Greek Orthodox Church, Palatine, IL. Interment St. Michael the Archangel, Palatine, IL . In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in George’s name to the ALS Hope Foundation would be appreciated.
