Nina Tickner, nee Kyprianou, age 84, fell asleep in our Lord on November 21, 2021. Beloved wife of Erwin Tickner. Loving mother of Ellen Nowak and Despo Rumowski. Proud grandmother of Ethan, Zoe, Ricky, Ella, and Reid. Dear sister of Richard (Toula) Kyprianou, the late Ellen (survived by Bill) Werner, and Flora Kyprianou. Cherished daughter of the late Dimitrios and Despina Kyprianou. Dear aunt, cousin, godmother, and friend to many who will miss her dearly. Family and friends will meet at Ahlgrim Funeral Home, 330 W. Golf Road, Schaumburg for visitation Friday, November 26, from 4PM-9PM. Funeral service Saturday 10AM at St. Nectarios Greek Orthodox Church, 133 S. Roselle Road, Palatine. Interment St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine, IL. In lieu of flowers, donations in Nina’s name to the charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
