Paul Vasis

Paul Vasis (Vasilopoulos), 75, fell asleep in our Lord on December 24, 2021. Beloved husband of Mary (Dionysopoulos). Loving father of Anna (William) Pappas and Andrew (Tricia) Vasis. Proud and loving grandfather of Katerina Maria (his hunny bunny), Gianni Paul and Alexander William Pappas; Paul Donald and Alex Terrance Vasis.  Dear brother of the late Yiannis, Kostas, Christos and Vasiliki. 

Paul was a devoted Cubs Fan (loved sharing it with his “Big Guy” Alex Fraser), passionate about his garden, his love of life and his beautiful wife, children and grandchildren (and watching them at all their sports).  He will be greatly missed by many, but none more than his family who loved him deeply.

Friends and family will meet Friday, December 31, 2021 at 9:00AM for visitation at St. Nectarios Greek Orthodox Church, 133 S. Roselle, Palatine, IL with funeral service to follow at 10AM. The service may be view live or recorded at St. Nectarios Youtube channel. Interment to be held at Arlington Cemetery, 401 E. Lake Street, Elmhurst. In lieu of flowers, donations in Paul’s name to St. Nectarios Greek Orthodox Church would be appreciated. Arrangements by Memory Eternal Funeral Directors, Ltd. 847-375-0095.
