Helen Eliopoulos

Helen Eliopoulos, nee Bentevis, age 87, of Tripoleos, Peloponnese, Greece, passed away on Sunday, July 12th. Beloved wife of the late John Eliopoulos and loving mother of Gus (Konstantina) Eliopoulos. Devoted daughter of the late John and Eleni Bentevis, and proud grandmother of John and Eleni Eliopoulos. Dear sister, aunt and cousin of many.

Family and friends may gather on Thursday morning, July 16th, at St. George Greek Orthodox Church located at 2701 N. Sheffield Ave., Chicago, IL 60614, for Visitation at 9:30 a.m. and the Funeral Service at 10:30 a.m. Interment in Ridgewood Memorial Park in Des Plaines.

Due to current COVID restrictions, church capacity is 70 people. Anyone planning on attending must reach out to the Eliopoulos Family and be added to the guest list, which will be submitted to the church staff. Guests will have their temperature taken as they arrive and facemasks and social distancing is mandatory. It is recommended that if you are not feeling well, you should not attend.
