John Gregory Martynek

John Gregory Martynek, age 24, passed away suddenly on Thursday, July 9th. Devoted Son of Zenon and Regina, “Cookie”, nee Stathopulos, and loving Brother of Michael Martynek.  Cherished Grandson of Mary and the late John Stathopulos and Irma and the late Alojzy Martynek. Fond Nephew, Cousin and Friend of many.

Family and friends may gather on Wednesday morning, July 15th, at SS Peter and Paul Greek Orthodox Church located at 1401 Wagner Road in Glenview. The doors will open at 10:00 a.m. and the Funeral Service will begin at 10:30 a.m. Interment in Elmwood Cemetery, River Grove.

Due to current COVID restrictions, Church capacity is 80 people. Anyone planning on attending must reach out to the Martynek Family and be added to the guest list, which will be submitted to the church staff. Guests will have their temperature taken as they arrive and facemasks and social distancing is mandatory. It is recommended that if you are not feeling well, you should not attend.
