Areti Kolias nee Hiotis, fell asleep in our Lord on August 29, 2021. Beloved wife of Theodore Kolias. Loving mother of Evy (George) Horaitis and Nicolas (Vasiliki) Kolias. Proud Yiayia of Costa, Dora, and Areti. Dear sister of Georgia and the late Nikos, Andreas, Ekaterina, Demetra, and Kostoula. Dear aunt, cousin, and friend to many who will miss her. Family and friends will meet on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 2727 Winona, Chicago, IL from 11AM-12PM with funeral service to begin at 12PM. Interment to follow at Ridgewood Memorial Park, Des Plaines, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Areti’s name to St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church would be appreciated.
