Gus Agelonidis

Gus Agelonidis, age 80, of Greece, passed away on Saturday, February 22, 2020. Beloved husband of Demetra, loving father of Tina (Kirk) Kohler, Maria (Ron) Glas and Gina (Charles) Conde, and proud grandfather of Michael, Matthew, Jamie, Ronnie, Katerina and Dean. Cherished son of the late George and Stamatina Agelonidis. Dear brother of Toula (the late Dimitri), Eoulia (the late Dimitri), the late Pitsa (Socrates) and John (Vasiliki). Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews and their families.  

Gus had a vibrant personality, generous heart, and was a devoted family man. He was an avid gardener and an all-around handyman. His wife, children and grandchildren were his everything. The love that Gus put into this world was unconditional and will truly last forever.

Family and friends will gather on Wednesday morning, February 26, 2020, for Visitation at 9:30 a.m. until the Funeral Service begins at 10:30 a.m., at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church located at 2727 W. Winona Ave., Chicago, IL 60625. Interment Elmwood Cemetery, River Grove, IL.
