Harriet Glikis Bohac née Pappas, age 102, fell asleep in the Lord June 13, 2023. Beloved wife of Peter Glikis and Charles Bohac. Loving mother of Eleni (Richard) Kirkpatrick and Valli Zo (Oscar) Luciano Devoted daughter of the late Anthony and Zoe Pappas. Proud Yiayia of Hope (Anthony) McGee and Sarah (Steve) Panek, Rebecca (Jack) Brandtman and Hannah (Lauro) Bueno. Great Yiayia of Macey, Malcolm, Liam, Nathan, Zoe and Ellie. Dear sister of Bessie, Florence, Anne, George, Gus, Helen and Olga. Fond aunt and cousin of many. Harriet lived a life of service. To her God, her family, and her church. Making everyone around her happy was a priority, whether it was family, a waitress, or a stranger. Preparing food for everyone brought joy to us all. Her grandkids and great grandkids meant everything to her. She would give her last penny to her family. Harriet was a member of the Saint Spyridon Greek Church Ladies Philoptochos. Visitation Tuesday, June 27 from 9:00 AM until time of Funeral Service 10:00 AM at Saint Spyridon Greek Orthodox Church, 12307 South Ridgeland Avenue, Palos Heights, IL 60463. The Funeral Service may be viewed live or recorded at St. Spyridon YouTube channel. Interment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Evergreen Park, IL. A loving and generous person dedicated to family and her beloved St. Spyridon! My sympathy to all of her family.I lost touch with her but she was always in my thoughts and prayers. May her Memory be Eternal!
