I’ve known and worked with Lola for over 40 years. She was an ophthalmic technician who later became office manager of my ophthalmology practice. As a young woman, she trained as an operatic soprano but chose a career in medicine instead. She was intelligent, diligent, friendly, loyal and hard working. She was able to adapt to new technology when the computer age changed the way we managed the office, did billing and kept medical records. Lola always tackled tasks with enthusiasm and competence. She was a steadfast friend who helped me greatly over the years and will be missed.

I worked with Lola in Dr. Morris’s office from 2004 to 2007. She was a knowledgeable, self-confident, intelligent woman, always kind and attentive to me. She taught me a lot professionally. She was a well-educated person, read a lot, was interested in music and art.
Hearing her last name, at first I thought that she was a relative of Maria Callas. Later she said that unfortunately not, but she saw the great opera singer on stage at the Lyric Opera of Chicago.
My sincere condolences to her sister. I will remember Lola for life.
Everlasting memory!
