Stamata Lillis, nee Samaras, age 87, fell asleep in the Lord on November 3, 2021. Beloved wife of the late Stavros Lillis. Loving mother of John Lillis. Devoted daughter of the late Stathis and Eleni Samaras. Dear sister of Kostas Samaras, Georgios Samaras, Vasiliki Onsley, the late Theodore Samaras and Elias Samaras. Fond aunt and cousin of many. Stamata was a great chef, gardener and was fond of animals. She was very energetic and will be missed dearly. Visitation Wednesday, November 10, 2021 from 9:30AM until time of Funeral service, 10:30AM at Saint Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 2727 West Winona Street, Chicago, IL.
