Steve Karagiannakos, 77, fell asleep in our Lord on July 26, 2022. Beloved husband of Demetra “Toula” Karagiannakos nee Exarhoulias. Loving father of Antoni (Eleni) Karagiannakos, Koula (Dimitri) Bizios, and Maria Karagiannakos. Proud grandfather of Christos, Stavros, Anastasia “Sia”, and Stavros. Dear brother of Dimitri Karagiannakos and the late Kostas Karagiannakos. Cherished son of the late Antonios and Kyriakoula Aliferis Karagiannakos. Dear uncle, cousin, and friend to many who will miss him. Family and friends will meet Friday, July 29, 2022 at 9AM for visitation with funeral service to follow at 10AM at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 2727 W. Winona Ave., Chicago. Interment Arlington Cemetery, Elmhurst, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church would be appreciated.
