Nick J. Sfondouris, fell asleep in our Lord on January 19, 2023. Beloved husband of Marion nee Crisci for 48 happy years. Loving son of the late John T. and Merope Sfondouris. Loving father of Michelle (Mark) Brown, Gary (Shaindel) Kost, and Steven (Denise) Kost. Dear brother of Georgia (the late Nicholas G.) Mitchell and brother-in-law of Jeanette (the late James) Kelly. Fond uncle of Marta (Dave) Gambaccini, Alexis (Jim) Bratsakis, and the late Craig (survived by Diane) Mitchell and great-uncle of Nicholas C. Mitchell and Jena (Peter) Burton. Proud Grandpa of Paul (Kellie) Brown, Diana (Jeremy) Cohen, Nicole (Adam) Chapman, Kelly Kost, Jenna (Moy) Ocon, Stephanie (Kevin) Alvarez, Logan Kost, and the late Stacey (survived by Mike) Troy and great-Grandpa of 14 great-grandchildren. He served his country during the Korean conflict with pride and patriotism. Growing up near Wrigley Field, he was a lifelong fan of the Chicago Cubs and the Bears exceeded only by his love of Frank Sinatra’s music. He was kind, generous, and loving to all who knew him. Funeral services private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Nick’s name to Wounded Warrior Project or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital would be greatly appreciated.
