Angelis Tsekeris

Angelis Tsekeris, age 95, of Grekou, Arcadias, Greece, passed away on Saturday, May 9, 2020 in Chicago, his home for many years. Beloved husband for 69 years, of Georgia, loving father of Athanasia (Roy) Alexander, Theodore A. Tsekeris (Keris) and the late Grigorios Tsekeris. Born to Theodore and Athanasia Tsekeris, survived by his brother Aristos (Art) Tsekeris & wife Lee, many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He will be remembered as a respectful, mild-mannered man of good character who demonstrated kindness, generosity, and friendliness to all who met him.

Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, funeral and interment services are private. Memorial tributes may be made in Angelis’ name to The Alzheimer’s Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Floor 17, Chicago, IL 60601, or online at act.alz.org.
