Golfo Mitsiopoulou, nee Karageorgas, age 91, passed away on Monday, April 27, 2020. Beloved wife of the late Gus Mitsios; loving mother of Barbara (Christos) Kelaidi, Bill (Jolita) Mitsiopoulos, Frances (Tom) Kokos, and the late Tom Mitsiopoulos. Proud Yiayia of Stelios (Zaxaroula) Kelaidis, Konstantina (Pangiotis) Kelaidi, Nadia (Brian) Faulkner, Soula (Paul) Siegfried, Talya (Frank) Barbanente, Katiana, Angelica, Aliki, Foula and Konstantinos Mitsiopoulos, and Sam and Kosta Kokos. Blessed Great grandmother of Nine. Fond sister-in-law of Milton Kondilis and cherished Thia and cousin of many.
Due to the Coronavirus restrictions, all final services are private. Funeral Services will be streamed live, on Thursday, April 30, 2020, at 10 a.m., on the Saint Nectarios Greek Orthodox Church Facebook page, and on the St. Nectarios Greek Orthodox Church in Palatine, IL YouTube channel.
