Dionysios Louras, 93, fell asleep in our Lord on January 30, 2023. Beloved husband of the late Theodora Louras nee Kotsios. Loving father of Fotini (the late Chris) Drebos, Vasiliki (Dimitrios) Karonis, Anthony (Sandy), and Louis (Toula) Louras. Proud Papou of Vicky, Steve (Evelyn) Drebos, Peter (Eleftheria) Karonis, Danny, Dino (Kaylee) Louras, Teri (Foti) Pappas, Alexia (Alex) Orihuela, Kristina, and Dionysi Louras and great-grandfather of Christo, Ioanna, Fotini, Dimitrios, Ioannis, Vasilios, Victoria, and Mia. Devoted son of the late Antonios and Fotini Louras. Dear brother of the late Christo (the late Niki) Louras and brother-in-law of Bill (the late Tasia), George (Theodora), Alex (Martha) Kotsios, Gianoula (the late John) Kaplanis, and Panagoula (the late Spiro) Karzis, and the late Theodore (survived by Sophia) Kotsios. Fond uncle, cousin, and friend to many who will miss him. Friends and family will meet Friday, February 3, 2023 at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 2727 W. Winona Ave., Chicago for visitation at 9AM with funeral service to begin at 10AM. Interment Elmwood Cemetery, River Grove.
