Elaine I. Katzourakis, fell asleep in our Lord on February 10, 2023. Devoted daughter of the late Evangeline and Speros Katzourakis. Beloved cousin of Pia (Gus Yfantis) Papayannacos, the late Cassandra (Thomas) Chrones Moore, the late George Johnson; and in Greece, Dr. John M. (Loula) Chrones, Nicholas M. Chrones, Dr. Nicholas G. (Georgia) Chrones, John N. (Mirka) Chrones, and Dr. Savvas D. (Vasilia) Chrones. Proud godmother of Alexander Rassogianis. Cherished friend of Pauline (Paul) Franks and many others who will miss her dearly. Longtime music teacher in the Lincolnwood School District and choir director at St. Andrew Greek Orthodox Church. Friends and family will meet Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at 10AM for visitation with funeral service to follow at 11AM at St. Andrew Greek Orthodox Church, 5649 N. Sheridan Road, Chicago. Interment Elmwood Cemetery, River Grove. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Elaine’s name to St. Andrew Greek Orthodox Church would be appreciated.
