Gregory S. Post, age 57, of Glenview, passed away suddenly on July 2nd, 2020.  Beloved husband of Renée, nee Margetis, for 34-years; loving father of Peter; dearest brother of Sheryl (Neil) Wendtland, Brenda (Scott) Kamish and Jeffrey (Irene) Cohen, and brother-in-law of Alesia (Steven) Papastathis.  Fond uncle of Rachel (Matthew) Kiesler, Aimee Kamish and Theodore and Peter Papastathis; devoted son of the late Allen Cohen and Arleen Kahn and and son in law of Peter and the late Chrysanthie Margetis.

Gregory loved comedy and musical theater and was a big Chicago sports fan, being the most passionate about the Cubs.  He was a wonderful husband and father and lived for his family.  He will be greatly missed and never forgotten.

A Memorial Visitation will be held Monday, July 6th, from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m., with a Celebration of Life Service at 7:00 p.m. to include sharing by family and friends at Nelson Funeral Home, 820 Talcott Rd., Park Ridge.  We kindly ask that you please plan to stay only long enough to pay your respects so that we may accommodate everyone while being mindful of the 50-person maximum rule currently set in place.  Masks are required.  Interment is private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, PO Box 15829, Arlington, VA 22215, or online at www.diabetes.org.
