Mike Diamantopoulos, age 88, fell asleep in the Lord September 18, 2023. Beloved husband of the late Stavroula Diamantopoulos née Froustis for 57 years. Loving father of Nick Diamantopoulos and the late George Diamantopoulos. Devoted son of the late George and Angeliki née Adonoglou Diamantopoulos. Dear brother of Bob Diamond. Fond uncle of Mike Froustis, George Diamond, and Chris Diamond.
Mike was a great fisherman and hunter and taught his children and nephews how to fish. He enjoyed taking his wife, Stavroula, and family on picnics.
Visitation Friday, September 22, 2023 from 12:00 PM Noon until time of Funeral Service 1:00 PM at Saint George Greek Orthodox Church, 2701 North Sheffield Avenue, Chicago, IL 60614.
