Polyzoes Gavaris, fell asleep in our Lord on March 14, 2023. Proud Army veteran and member of the American Legion. Beloved husband of Eleftheria Gavaris nee Vrettou. Loving father of Nick Gavaris. Dear brother of Panagiota Gavaris, Maria (Panagiotis) Asimakopoulos, and Georgia Gavaris. Cherished son of the late Nicholas and Stavroula Gavaris nee Papadakos. Dear uncle, cousin, godfather, and friend of many who will miss him. Friends and family will meet Monday, March 20, 2023 at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 2727 W. Winona Street, Chicago at 9AM for visitation, funeral service to follow at 10:30AM. Interment Irving Park Cemetery, Chicago.
