Sylvia Litsos, age 85, fell asleep in the Lord August 17, 2023. Beloved wife of the late Dino Litsos for 54 years. Loving mother of Soula (Nick) Fitsalos, Georgia Litsos and the late Nicholas Litsos. Devoted daughter of the late Aristofanis and Georgia Sfoundouris. Proud grandmother of Christina and George Fitsalos. Dear sister of Keke (the late Louka) Filippou and Coula Sfoundouris. Fond aunt of Fani (Anna) Filippou, Nana (Tassos) Padiskas and Nick (Cathy) Litsos and many more in Greece.
Sylvia was a great seamstress, making costumes and dresses for her children. She loved cooking, baking and tending to her gardens in the US and Greece. Everyone who met Sylvia adored her and will miss her.
Visitation Thursday, August 24, 2023 from 10:00 AM until time of Funeral Service 11:00 AM at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 1017 North La Salle Drive, Chicago, IL 60610. The Funeral Service may be viewed live or recorded at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral YouTube. Interment to follow at Elmwood Cemetery, River Grove, IL.
